International migration is not resistible. In August, 2007 the number of foreigners living in South Korea are about one million, which consists of about 2 % of the total population. Under the circumstances, the number of marriage migrants have also increased, and stands at 97,236 in 2007. Since the number of marriage migrants have risen, the Korean social society previously identified as a nation of one people, needs to now transit to a multicultural one. |
