Gender Equality Policies for Justice Society

This research aims at exploring conceptual grounds of relationship between justice society and gender equality and drawing gender equality policies for justice society. The result shows that justice society should be worked by offering equal opportunities at starting point and process as well as equality in condition and result to people's life. Actually, justice society can be realized by being comprehensive of gender equality concept meaning gender equal participation and responsibility sharing between two genders in both public and private area.
Under this conceptual framework, this research has been setting four policy areas and eleven misssions have been selected as follows.
[1] Guarantee in both employment opportunity and job security
① Activation of flexible working time system
② Expansion of women's jobs in new growth-led industry area
③ Improvement of female non-regular workers' employment
[2] Increase in women's representativeness in political and social activity
④ Expansion and activation of targetting employment portion for female administrators in public sector
⑤ Support for carreer management for female managers in civil companies
[3] Support for compatibility of work & family and care services
⑥ Expansion of certificated family friendly company
⑦ Enhancement of child care services in workplace
⑧ Introduction of papa(daddy) quota system
[4] Establishment of gender equality and non-violent culture and social environment
⑨ Preperation of measurement against gender discrimination
⑩ Promotion of socio-cultural campaigns and building safe environment preventing sexual violence against women
⑪ Support for expanding men's participation in parenting
