Abstract A Study Gender Statistics of The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism

This study was supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in South Korea. The purpose of this study is to develop statistical indicators for the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and to prepare the statistical report on gender equality for the promotion and inspection of gender equality policies. The contents of this study are mainly composed of two parts. One is to develop statistical indicators for gender equality policies of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the other is to produce summary statistics based on the developed indicators. The structure of the indicators is constructed through policy orientation, and the statistical tables are presented based on the state-approved statistics produced by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
In the summary and implications, this study provides a suggestion for production and management of the gender statistics required for the promotion of gender equality policy of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
