There Were 38,489 Number of Domestic Violence Arrest Caess, 45,206 Arrested Suspects, And 6.1% of Recidivism Rate in 2017

    The number of cases of domestic violence arrests significantly increased from 16,758 in 2013, 17,557 in 2014 to 40,828 in 2015 and 45,619 in 2016, and then slightly decreased to 38,489 in 2017. As a result, the number of arrested suspects (in person) was in a similar level in 2013, 18,000 and in 2014, 18,666. Then significant increase was shown in 2015, 47,543, and in 2016, 53,511 and it decreased in 2017 to 45,206.

     

    The recidivism rate, which is the proportion of person’s relapse into the same crime in 2013 was 11.8%, and in 2014 was 11.1%. Then it significantly dropped in 2015 to 4.9%, and 3.8% in 2016. However compared to the previous year, in 2017, it creased by 2.4%p.
