Title Incheon Recorded as Highest in the Female Smoking Prevalence Rate in 2015

According to the Community Health Survey conducted by the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC), Incheon was recorded as highest in the female smoking prevalence rate among 17 provinces and metropolitan cities. The rate of smoking women accounted for 5.0%, which is three times as much as the lowest one, Sejong (1.7%).

The second highest province was Gangwon (4.1%), which was followed by other provinces such as Chungnam (3.9%), Daejeon (3.8%), and Gyeonggi (3.8%). Women's rate of smoking in Seoul was 3.4%, and Chungbuk (3.3%) and Gyeongbuk (3.2%) also passed 3%.

Sejong was the lowest one (1.7%), and Jeonnam (1.8%) and Gwangju (1.8%) were also below 2%, which are relatively lower than other provinces.
