Title Education or Training Experience Rate over the Last One Year in the Order of Male Permanent Workers>Female Permanent Workers>Female Temporary Workers>Male Temporary Workers

Looking at the rate of education or training experience for vocational competency development at their occupations over the last one year (to be referred to as rate of education or training experience) by employment type of wage workers of both genders, it was shown that male permanent workers was the highest and following this was, female permanent workers, female temporary workers and male temporary workers in the following order.

The rate of education or training of female permanent workers was 56.3%, which is 6.3%p lower than male permanent workers’, 62.6%. Moreover, the rate of education or training experience of female temporary workers was 47.1%, which is 5.7%p higher than male temporary workers’, 41.4%.

As a result, the rate of education or training experience gap between permanent workers and temporary workers was known to be larger in men (15.5%p) than in women (9.2%p)
